Second Mesa, AZ - KUYI Hopi Public Radio is excited to announce the upcoming 2024 Summer Music Festival, scheduled for Saturday, September 7, 2024, starting at 3 p.m. (MST). This special event will provide a perfect way to celebrate the end of summer and the start of a new school year.
The festival will provide an evening filled with music, food, and community spirit. Attendees are invited to bring their chairs and join in for a night of live performances featuring some of the community's most beloved local talents.
The festival lineup includes a Hopi social dance group and performances by Modern Chaos, Descendant, Hopi Clansmen, and Casper Lomayesva. This event offers a unique opportunity to experience the vibrant energy of the Hopi community through music and dance.
In addition to the entertainment, the event will provide opportunities to support KUYI. Attendees can sign up for the Adopt-A-Watt membership program, which helps power the station and the chance to purchase popular KUYI merchandise. This is a fun and meaningful way for the community to contribute to the station’s 25-Year celebration fundraising while enjoying the festivities.
KUYI, the “little station with a big heart” looks forward to welcoming the community to the 2024 Summer Music Festival for an evening of great music, good vibes, and togetherness.
